HRX provides and builds Peer-Delivered Syringe Services (PDSS) in the Capital Region.

Through their social networks, peers are able to reach individuals using drugs in need of syringes or other syringe services program services (SSPS) in ways that traditional SSPs are unable to.
Peer-Delivered Syringe Services (PDSS)
The goal of our Peer-Delivered Syringe Service is to improve health outcomes for folks who use drugs. We recognize the value of peers as service providers and leaders in their own communities. Peers have insight into current cultural norms, practices, and needs among people who use drugs, and may be able to gain trust from folks in need of safe supplies. ​​
